Skeen Rail Road Industrial Surveys
Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, & Tennessee

Client Challenge:

Skeen Railroad Engineering has been designing rail spur tracks to serve industrial clients throughout the southeastern United States for more than 15 years.  The challenge this client faced was inconsistent field work and project schedule delays by using local surveyors

PRIME Solution:

Prime Engineering trained their surveyors in the requirements for rail design criteria to ensure an unsurpassable product.  Additionally, Prime’s surveyors developed a work schedule (10 days on & 4 days off) to speed up the delivery time and minimize out-of-town expenses

Prime’s surveying teams provide knowledge in requirements for rail design criteria, data handling, scheduling, project planning, and dispatch regiment that maximized daily field data collection and control surveying costs.  Prime services include field survey and construction layout of railroad connector track (rail spurs) to serve industrial facilities.

Specific surveying services have included:

  • Clearing limits
